Summer Camp Horseback Riding Lessons

Horseback riding as an optional sport: 9 hours/ two-week period

Campers who sign up for horseback riding as an optional extra sport will participate in 6 riding lessons per two-week period - 1.5 hours per day, 3 days per week - for a total of 9 hours of horseback-riding per 2-week period. Campers will be taught various riding techniques - such as mounting, trotting, galloping, etc. - depending on their level (beginner, intermediate or advanced). The Marbella "Alborán" summer camp has two horseback-riding areas: one for beginners and another for more advanced riders.

It's important to note that ...

  • Students who sign up for summer camp horseback-riding lessons may not always be able to participate in all of the other camp activities due to periodic overlapping schedules. You can't always do it all!
  • We encourage and advise parents to register their child(ren) in the horseback-riding program as soon as possible, as program spots are limited.
  • Optional sports must be booked and paid for at least two weeks prior to the start of the chosen program. Booking and payment will not be accepted once the program begins.
  • Campers can only participate in 1 optional sport per two-week period.
  • Campers cannot join nor cancel and optional sports program once it has started.
  • Summer camp horseback riding lessons as an optional sport command a supplement.
  • Campers who sign up for the sports camp will not participate in morning language classes as that is when they will have their riding lessons.
